Dear Parents,
 
We are looking forward to having a great hassle free year for our PTA.  We would really love for more parents to get involved in our PTA and our events this year. For those of you who don’t know what the PTA represents, it represents the kids. 

We are in it for our children to get involved in activities, fundraisers, school events and a lot more. We feel that if we as parents get involved in our child’s activities and academics, it will help them with self esteem and confidence. It is proven that if parents are involved with their children’s school activities and academics, have a better chance of being successful in the future.

The LTHS PTA has some exciting plans for this coming year- a few are below:

• LTISD Student Directory and a No-Hassle Fundraiser

• An improved PTA website with access to minutes and treasurer reports at www.LTHSPTA.org

• Weekly eNews Updates of Volunteer Opportunities, Events & Dates, Scores & Achievements

• A commitment to making involvement with the LTHS PTA Hassle Free.

Plan on attending our Volunteer/Newcomer/General Meeting and Coffee on September 13 @ 10 am.
 
We are open and value your ideas, issues or concerns that you as parents might have at the meetings. The PTA meetings are also a way to get helpful information on upcoming events and things that will be going on during the entire school year. We also need parents to volunteer a little of their time at school events or functions that we will be having. So let’s get involved this year and join and attend the PTA meetings that will be held once a month for one hour.  IT’S FOR THE KIDS!
